It’s no secret that a majority of Donald Trump voters and supporters are intellectually challenged.
You’d almost have to be to vote for someone with that lethal combination of a**hole and moron. Are there smart people that voted Trump? Of course there are. But how terrible a decision it was to elect this man was laid out right in front of them, plain as day, and they were too stupid and blind to see it.
Here are some things that Trump voters are too dumb to realize:`
1. Until recently, Trump wanted universal healthcare.
Here’s Trump in 2000:
“I’m a conservative on most issues but a liberal on health. It is an unacceptable but accurate fact that the number of uninsured Americans has risen to 42 million. Working out detailed plans will take time. But the goal should be clear: Our people are our greatest asset. We must take care of our own. We must have universal healthcare.”
2. Trump was a big Hillary Clinton supporter.
Yep. Trump used to support Hillary Clinton. He was even a donor more than once for her senate campaigns. He was a huge contributor to the Clinton Foundation at one point. The Clintons were also at Trump’s most recent wedding (2005).
3. Trump cannot complete a coherent sentence, having the vocabulary of a third grader.
According to one report, Trump has the vocabulary of a third grader. This is according to researchers who analyzed Trump’s speeches and found that the small words and short sentences he uses are equivalent to the vocabulary of, again, a freaking third grader. This is our next President, ladies and gentlemen.
4. Trump hates poor people…that includes you.
Most of Donald Trump’s support came from poor people. And because they’re poor, Donald Trump thinks they’re too stupid and lazy to deserve to vote. I didn’t make that up. He said it, here.
5. Trump never actually says anything about his plans or policies – they’re all empty promises.
Building that wall? Deporting immigrants? A registry for Muslims? Putting Hillary Clinton in jail? Yeah, most of Trump’s biggest campaign rally
talking yelling points were total bull****. Have you ever heard him explain how he’s actually going to accomplish any of those things? Of course you haven’t because he doesn’t know how any of that is going to happen. He was banking on you being too stupid to call him on these empty statements. Unfortunately for all of America, he was right about that.
6. Trump was a gun control supporter.
He wanted to ban assault weapons, and background checks, and waiting periods, according to the book he wrote 16 years ago. He claims to be a conservative, but has flip-flopped on more issues than can be counted at this point.
There are literally hundreds of other things we could add to this list. Some of them are here. Some of them we will have to keep adding as we try to get through the next four years. All of them are terrifying.
