Author Michael Wolff, the man who penned the bombshell book Fire and Fury that has Trump angrier than ever, claims that according to White House aides, they believe if Special Counsel Mueller looks into Trump’s finances, then Trump is “sunk.”
“People don’t think in the White House — don’t think that he colluded with Russia,” Wolff, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box.
But, Wolff added, “they do think that if the investigation goes near his finances, he’s sunk.” Wolff added he was “confident” in the accuracy of the contents of his book.
Trump of course, is so certain that the book is “FAKE” that he tried to block its release through legal action, which is absurd because this is not 1930s Germany. We have laws that protect people who report things they find, which clearly is not something Trump is a fan of when the reports are critical of him.
Seems like Trump is getting more nervous about his fate by the day, especially in light of this book release and the news that his legal team is preparing for him to interview with Mueller’s team.
From the beginning, when he refused to release his taxes, it should’ve been clear that Trump’s finances are what could very likely bring him down in the end. Well, that…and obstruction of justice.
In July Trump warned Robert Mueller about investigating his family’s finances outside of the scope of the Russia probe. Why are you nervous about your finance, Trump?
