Trump Caught Using Fake Raid Video to “Prove” Navy SEAL’s Death Was Worth It

In what will surely cause a years-long, multi-million dollar senate investigation just like the Benghazi-Hillary Clinton witch hunt (sarcasm), Donald Trump ordered a raid in Yemen without proper preparation and intelligence that cost a US Navy SEAL his life.

This administration botched nearly every aspect of their first material raid. The intel was virtually non-existent, the operation was already considered too risky during the Obama administration, and the execution of the raid got a Navy SEAL and a 9-year-old girl killed, among many others possibly.

U.S. military officials told Reuters that Trump approved his first covert counterterrorism operation without sufficient intelligence, ground support or adequate backup preparations.

As a result, three officials said, the attacking SEAL team found itself dropping onto a reinforced al Qaeda base defended by landmines, snipers, and a larger than expected contingent of heavily armed Islamist extremists.

This is how the Trump administration justified/lied about the failure of the raid:

After repeated questions about the botched mission, the US military posted a video they claimed was one of the prizes of the “successful mission.”

The US military on Friday took down the link to a video that it said it secured from a raid in Yemen last week just hours after posting it, having realized that far from showing off the intelligence gained from the raid, the videos were a decade old.

The video, titled “Courses for Destroying The Cross,” was first released in 2007 and had been online for years, as it turns out. In the less than two-minute long video, which was widely circulated after it was pushed out on Friday morning, there are several clips showing a man in a white robe and black mask explaining how to make a bomb using chemicals.

It didn’t take long for people to started noticing that the information, and the video itself even, was very old and from 2007, not from the raid that took place.

The Trump team, who keep in mind campaigned against Hillary Clinton on her “failure” in Benghazi, completely botched this military operation, and then completely lied about it with a 10 year video.

When does the congressional subcommittee convene to investigate?
