Hurricanes Destroy Coasts, Then Trump Sends Out This Text Begging For Campaign Money

With the nation experiencing a natural disasters bigger than any others in history, Trump announced he would be donating $1 million dollars to charity to help with Hurricane Harvey relief.

Then the story got flipped and all of a sudden it was his Trump Foundation that would be donating the funds instead. Hurricane Irma is now barreling down the coastline and Trump is trying to use this one to make money it appears.

Trump just sent out this text to his supporters saying, “DJT: “I fight for America. The career politicians and the FAKE NEWS will not stop us! WATCH my new ad and DONATE so more Americans see the TRUTH!”

Thanks to Kyle Griffin, a producer for Lawrence O’Donnell’s MSNBC show you can see it for yourself below.

Once again, Trump is raising money, but for what?

His 2020 reelection is the cover, but he’s not even running a campaign yet. He’s been caught using these “reelection” funds to pay for his son’s lawyers, so it’s not hard to assume he’s using the money to line his own pockets. This time he’s doing it when half the nation is in crisis.

Donald Trump, of course, will plead ignorance as a means to justify why this fund raising campaign went out at this most inopportune time possible. If he responds at all, he will likely claim it was a staffer who did is in error and, of course, Trump himself knew nothing about it.

Don’t give Trump any more money. Give to the Red Cross or any other hurricane related charity so your money will actually do some good in this country.
