Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, is a failure. There’s no disputing that fact, which has become apparent even to himself.
Despite having control of both the House and the Senate, his party can not accomplish anything on their to-do list. Even his best efforts, holding votes in the middle of the night trying to sneak things through, he still can’t get anything passed.
McConnell has finally admitted to his failure, but he’s still being arrogant about it.
During a recent radio interview he said,“I choose not to dwell on situations where we come up a little bit short. Even on the night when we came up one vote short of our dream to repeal and replace Obamacare, here’s the first thing I thought about: feel better, Hillary Clinton could be president”.
Besides the fact that he has finally announced to the world what we all know, he’s failed on an epic level, he is falling back to “at least it’s not the other one”. So it’s ok that he’s not doing his job as long as the Democrats can’t do theirs either.
We also have to acknowledge that he publicly stated his “dream” is to strip millions of people of their healthcare. So he’s not just a failure, he’s a villain.
Since it’s official that McConnell is a failure, how long until the rest of the Republican Party and the President want to give someone else a shot? He may just be the next one Trump kicks out of his job, which wouldn’t be surprising at this point.
The Republican party is failing in embarrassing fashion, and it’s only a matter of time before Democrats take back control of our great nation.
