Nearly a Dozen WH Staffers Leak They Have to Manage Trump Like an Adult Day Care

The White House as a Daycare center. That’s where we are in 2017 – Donald Trump’s America.

In the midst of an ongoing feud with the President, Tennessee Senator Bob Corker alluded to the fact that many in Washington and in the White House itself, view Donald Trump as a child who has to be tended to like he is in a daycare center.

After one particularly vicious and stupid tweet from a particularly vicious and stupid President, Corker Tweeted “It’s a shame the White House has become an adult day care center. Someone obviously missed their shift this morning.”

Politico’s Josh Dawsey report confirms that as many as 10 current and former Trump insiders, including White House officials, confirm that “adult day care” is an excellent description of Trump’s White House.

Dawsey reports that in order to avoid setting Trump off into a temper tantrum, aides use distractions to sideline Trump from flying into a rage. Dawsey writes:

“But interviews with 10 current and former administration officials, advisers, longtime business associates and others close to Trump describe a process in which they try to install guardrails for a president who goes on gut feeling — and many days are spent managing the president, just as Corker said.”

Trump would impulsively want to fire someone like attorney general Jeff Sessions, create a new wide–ranging policy with far–flung implications like increasing tariffs on Chinese steel imports or end a decades–old deal like the North American Free Trade Agreement. Enraged with a TV segment or frustrated after a meandering meeting, the president would order it done immediately.

“Delaying the decision would give [former Chief of Staff Reince] Priebus and others a chance to change his mind or bring in advisers to speak with Trump – and in some cases, to ensure Trump would drop the idea altogether and move on.”

If only someone could have seen this coming. If only someone had warned us that this man was unfit for office and had little to no idea how to be President.

If only.
