Donald Trump dropped the ball big time in Puerto Rico, and his trip to Las Vegas was all about him and not the victims of the devastating shooting.
Donald Trump has sunk to an all-time low, like low even for him with a new push to financially profit from the deadly attack in Las Vegas.
Trump’s 2020 “reelection” campaign has already been raising money at events around the world, but he’s not actually running for office and won’t be in the future either.
The “reelection” money has been used to help pay for his family’s legal fees, so basically it’s a direct line of personal profit for Trump himself. The latest email from his reelection campaign that was sent out is one of the most disturbing things he’s done since he’s been in office.
It starts with this seemingly sincere statement, “Our nation is still in shock and mourning following the massacre of 58 concertgoers and hundreds of others injured in Las Vegas” and then it takes an unsettling turn asking for donations to his campaign.
Here is the letter that went out…
Seems like a pretty benign statement, right?
Well, until this part of the message is added…
He is seriously suggesting these people lost their lives so give me money. This money isn’t even being used for what they claim it will go to! Trump is trying to personally profit from the Las Vegas shooting.
Trump showed zero leadership in the aftermath of this crisis. He tweeted “warmest condolences”, whatever that means. He has yet to address the shooting or the effects this may have on future gun legislation. What a peace of work.
