Trump Jr. sent investigators, colleagues and family into a tailspin when news broke of his meeting with a Kremlin representative who was trying to help rig the election against Hillary Clinton. During an interview with Sean Hannity, Trump Jr. admitted to having even more contact with the Russians after the now infamous meeting with the Russian lawyer and there’s a trail of evidence to prove it.
Look no further than The Wall Street Journal report back in March where is clearly shows that Donald Trump Jr. attended a meeting in October late last year with Russian government officials. The fact that Trump Jr. alluded to other meetings means that between October and June he probably had ongoing communication with the Russian government.
The Wall Street Journal reported:
October appearance by son of then-candidate is one of string of contacts between members of the president’s inner circle and individuals connected to Moscow
President Donald Trump’s eldest son was likely paid at least $50,000 for an appearance late last year before a French think tank whose founder and his wife are allies of the Russian government in efforts to end the war in Syria.
While we would love to get paid $50,000 to attend a meeting, why would a billionaire waste his time with that? Clearly, not only are the Trump family members in Russia’s pocket, but they are perhaps not as wealthy as they would have us to believe.
