Although Rudy Giuliani has spent the better part of the past year laying relatively low, now that he’s representing Donald Trump, it seems as if time spent with the president is rubbing off on him as he, too, is now running his mouth in a self-incriminating fashion.
If you missed his interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week over the weekend, then I strongly suggest you take the time to watch it in its disastrous entirety.
Stormy Daniels’ attorney @MichaelAvenatti calls Giuliani’s interview with @GStephanopoulos, “an absolute, unmitigated disaster for Rudy Giuliani and the president… I think it is obvious to the American people that this is a cover-up; that they are making it up as they go along.” pic.twitter.com/cURpRlV3Ce

Needless to say, by Monday morning, Trump decided he couldn’t stand idly by and watch Guiliani drive the crazy train on his own, so naturally, he took to Twitter and jumped aboard and took it full steam ahead.
As per the usual, Trump posted a plethora of tweets, but two in particular stand out more than the others. The first one?:
“The Russia Witch Hunt is rapidly losing credibility. House Intelligence Committee found No Collusion, Coordination or anything else with Russia. So now the Probe says OK, what else is there? How about Obstruction for a made up, phony crime. There is no O, it’s called Fighting Back.”
What Trump doesn’t seem to realize here is that by admitting that several of his actions have been an attempt at “fighting back” against the investigation, he more or less just confessed to felony obstruction of justice.
Up next is this dandy tweet: “The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice…and just wait ‘till the Courts get to see your unrevealed Conflicts of Interest!”
Ummm. Since when have 13 Democrats been running the investigation? And what makes the man think the court system has actually ruled in favor of his side? Considering his new attorney is now blabbering just as incoherently as he has been known to do, and his old attorney is more than likely facing an arrest very soon, odds are the courts have already seen enough.
Nevertheless, the bottom line is this: If you thought you had a rough weekend, or if your Monday didn’t quite go as planned, just take comfort in knowing you didn’t screw the pooch as bad as Giuliani or Trump did.
